DEXA Bone Density Scan

The bone density scan quantifies the bone mineral density of each bone so that we are able to identify a patient's potential risk for diseases such as osteoporosis. This scan is particularly important for the aging population as they are at a heightened risk.

The body composition scan quantifies lean mass, fat mass, and visceral fat and is the most accurate way to track fat loss and muscle gain. Tracking these numbers are also used to identifying chronic health risks such as metabolic disease, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases

The VO2 Max Test reflects a person's ability to perform sustained exercise by measuring when the body switches from aerobic respiration to anaerobic respiration.

Using this information, we can gauge a patient's heart rate zones, create efficient training programs for patients, and get an overall baseline understanding of a patient's cardiac fitness level.

The RMR test measures the amount of calories that a person's body burns while at rest, as well as, calculates an individual's fat and carbohydrate utilization.

This information helps more accurately determine a patient's dietary and fitness needs to maximize their physical capabilities and reach their wellness goals. Whether those goals are competing at the next level or improving everyday life.

Spirometry (PFT)

A common test used to check how well your lungs work. With our technology, we can assess the lung volumes, capacity, rate of flow and gas exchange. This testing helps us measure breathing and how well the lungs are functioning. This test is often utilized to evaluate and diagnose breathing disorders, such as asthma.

Electrocardiogram (EKG)

A quick, simple and non-invasive test that measures your heart's electrical activity.

An EKG can record your heart rate and tell us whether your heart rate and rhythm is normal. The test also measures the strength and timing of the electrical signals. The test can be performed for diagnostic, monitoring, or screening purposes. An EKG is often the first test you'll receive if you're having any symptoms related to a heart condition, like palpitations, dizziness and chest pain.
