Patient stories

Results you can measure.

In December 2023 I made the decision to change to THE ARMORY for my medical care. Dr. Bailey was recommended and it sounded like what I was looking for. From the first visit I was impressed. The in-depth physical and DEXA scan gave them the information they needed to start me on my journey to a healthier version of me. Being a performance medicine patient provided me the opportunity to sit down with Audrey the dietician. I never knew how to eat properly. The changes we made stuck. Learning the right way to eat for my needs, having THE ARMORY to work out, and the care that Dr. Bailey provides has changed my life. For the first time in a decade I am under 300 lbs. I am now 3 months into my journey, and I have lost nearly 20 lbs of fat and gained nearly 2 lbs of lean mass because I now understand better diet and exercise. What THE ARMORY offers is a path to a better life. Update: I have since dropped under 230 lbs, and I am still going strong.

As a performance medicine patient I can say the staff at THE ARMORY are nothing but the best. The Wellness Coordinator, Nurses, Dietician, Physical Therapist all the way up to Dr. Bailey have been exceptional week in and week out. With their guidance, kindness, and patience I have learned about proper nutrition and exercise while building confidence in myself and my abilities. This has allowed me to lose approximately 85 lbs of fat and over 42 inches from my neck, chest, waist, pant, and hip over an 18 month period, all while in my early 50's. If you are willing to put in the effort they will be there to support you the entire way on your journey.

Paul · Performance Medicine Patient

Such great tests available, with so many on-site perks. The staff was great helping my husband and me get set up and figure out which fitness tests would be best for our needs. Excited to have this in our own backyard.

Data-driven, goal-oriented care focused on how you feel and perform, from energy and recovery to body composition and long-term health, built on advanced testing and a plan tailored to you.

Adults who want to feel and perform their best, not just treat illness. Your medical care team evaluates where you are and builds a plan around your goals.

No. Dr. Bailey focuses only on performance medicine. Think of him as a specialist consultant you see for specific goals, not your everyday doctor. Your primary care, the routine and preventive medicine, is handled by Rebecca McClain, our Medical Director and a family nurse practitioner, or by Dr. Joseph Jacko. Many members do both: Rebecca or Dr. Jacko as their primary care provider, and Dr. Bailey for performance medicine.

No. You are welcome to keep your primary care provider wherever you like and still see Dr. Bailey for performance medicine consultations. Performance medicine works alongside your regular care rather than replacing it. And if you would also like a primary care home at THE ARMORY, Rebecca and Dr. Jacko are here for you.

Advanced testing and a personalized plan, with access to the full optimization toolkit, including hormone therapy, medical weight loss, and nutrition, when your provider determines it is appropriate.
