Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a healthcare model in which patients pay a flat, recurring monthly fee directly to their primary care physician, bypassing traditional insurance billing. This fee typically covers most primary care services, including routine checkups, sick visits, and chronic disease management, enabling more personalized and accessible care. DPC emphasizes a strong, personal relationship between patient and physician, with less administrative burden and insurance paperwork.
