Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Volleyball Skills Coach

Breyona attended Howard University in Washington, DC where she was a former D1 collegiate volleyball player, and received her associates in Exercise Science accompanied with a specialization in Sports Kinesiology in 2013. She returned to Columbus for an internship where she finished her Bachelors degree at Ohio Dominican University in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology and Sports Nutrition in 2015. She holds a Certified Exercise Physiology (EP-C) credential from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and is a Registered Strength and Conditioning coach with specializations in Sports Performance Enhancement (NASM- PES) and Corrective Exercises (NASM - CES). She has been working within the field of medicine and with athletes of various ages and sports since 2015.

In addition to her extensive background of academic performance, she has been coaching high level volleyball, going into her 11th season. She has worked with various athletes over the years helping to grow not only in their abilities as athletes but also in their abilities as young adults. She is fascinated by the human body and its vast similarities and simultaneous differences. She enjoys working with people of all ages, skill levels, sport or life demands to help create the best programming for each individual. She believes that through movement we can change every aspect of our lives.
